Business Expansion: 4 Avenues

Business expansion of any kind whether in product or service may entail taking your business to the next level. Following are just four possible ways you may expand your business horizons. As general examples, these four avenues may give you some ideas of your own in areas you may be willing to expand your business to gain new customers.
1. New demographic(s): If you feel you’ve exhausted the Demographic you started with when targeting your first audience, it may be time to expand by adding a different aspect of your targeted Demographics. For example, if you’ve only been selling male wardrobe you may want to add female, or if to a younger generation then you may want to add the adolescent.
3. New product(s): It you’ve been selling the same type of products for years and years it may be time to upgrade by adding more up to date items that are more in demand. For example, if you’ve only been selling books you may want to add electronic gadgets to enhance a reader’s experience.
4. New service(s): If you’ve only been product-based, you may want to look into adding some type of a Service either attached to your product or as a separate package. For example, if you’ve only sold watches as a stand-alone, you may want to add a Service Agreement to maintain that watch in good working condition.
So if you want to find more customers to increase your business you may need to look into some form of business expansion. This does not necessarily mean physically expanding but it can if you have the means to do so. The type of expansion described here is based on the premises of expanding on what you already have with intent of gaining new customers.
