Writing For You Now
Experience shows us that a successful business has a plan which is equivalent to an itinerary for a business trip; you refer to it for a successful outcome. Having a business plan is a wise decision as it helps you set the direction you’d like your business to go and how to get there.
Following are a few questions you may want to answer in your business plan:
- What type of business are you planning to have and can you describe your type of business?
- Do you have a product, a service, or are you an information provider?
- Who is your competition and do you know it well enough to jump in with both feet?
- Who is your target audience and have you researched their needs?
- What are your marketing strategies and what methods will you use to promote your product or service?
- Are you a storefront or a web site?
- Do you have distribution channels? In other words, what channels will you use to get your product and/or service to your customers or clients?
- Where are you starting from and where do you want to go financially?
- Who is in charge of your managerial department and who will manage your business in your absence whether going on a trip, vacation, or in case of illness?
- Can you summarize your business in an organized manner?
