Writing For You Now

Are you finding it difficult to maintain healthy eating habits? In today's fast paced, hurry up, get there, and get it done society, your healthy eating habits may be taking a back seat on your priority list. Unfortunately it is a law of nature that when you neglect your body, an unpleasant price tag follows right behind it. You cannot afford to get sick, as a matter of fact, it's a hindrance to your productivity. Basic and valuable healthy eating information is all around us, but as human nature would dictate, some us are still looking for that magic pill, that ultimate fruit, or even that miracle supplement that will grant us perfect health without the effort of eating healthy.

As a human in a physical body, your health is determined by your personal daily choices and disease prevention measures that you take. Healthy eating truly is your responsibility. By now you may be thinking that you cannot afford to buy organic and bottled water.

Honestly, not everyone can afford to buy and eat organic, or even to drink distilled water to maintain healthy eating habits. I personally know of several people who have gotten away from eating all organic due to the economic strain. These same people have not given up their healthy eating habits. They still follow their compass to good eating habits. They don't drink the distilled water they used to either, but they do buy filters for their homes and still drink as much water for flushing out impurities.

Here are just 4 basic, yet vital, tips for your good healthy eating:

1. Reduce fat intake

2. Increase complex carbohydrates

3. Limit consumption of red meats

4. Lower refined carbohydrate

Now ask yourself, what you are doing today to avoid these four preventable health disappointments?

1. Cancer

2. Heart Disease

3. Stroke

4. Diabetes

Don't allow yourself to be led astray from the simplicity of a simple tool as the Food Guide Pyramid. I encourage you to check out the Food Guide Pyramid on the internet, you will find the Guide now has varied Ethnic/Cultural Pyramids for a healthier planet.

Our societal habits may have changed through the decades and centuries, but the basic nutrients for a healthy body have not.

Here's to your long and healthy life!
