Writing For You Now

Have you been practicing some new positive self esteem statements or behaviors lately? Be advised that others are watching you. You may have been struggling with your self esteem for years and years, and when you start practicing some empowering statements or behaviors someone might say to you, wait a minute, now you're being over confident. So right away that prompts you to ask, so what's the difference? Healthy Self-Esteem:

Over Confident:

The difference is a fine line that separates between having a healthy self esteem and being over confident. Having a healthy self esteem is defined as having confidence in your own merit as an individual person and not relying on outside approval for your overall self worth. That's a tall order for someone struggling with low self esteem issues.

Over confidence on the other hand, is defined as going over your quota in your confidence level, over stretching your merit unrealistically to an exaggerated confidence point. As you begin to practice your new empowering statements and behaviors to raise your self esteem, go through this checklist and ask on which list are you? This is but a short list to help you identify the difference between having a healthy self esteem and being over confident.
